I had calculated that in order for me to achieve my dream of owning a house with minimum loan, I had to earn RM 11,730.56 every month for 3 years. And for me to achieve it in 4 years, I would need to start earning that from year 2 onwards, that’s from Oct 2006 onwards.
If I can’t start earning that amount starting from Oct 2006, then I would need to earn much more than RM 11,730.56 every month in the later years, that is, year 3 and 4 (2008 and 2009).
As mentioned in my about page of this blog, my plan to achieve that amount is to have a computer system/service deployed for the public to use. It will be some sort of a service… but I shall not reveal here for some reasons. Anyway, the specific service is not important for readers of this blog, which focuses on the journey of getting successful & achieving goals.
But I had a problem. While developing that system, it is better to have some income to support me. Even though I believe my savings are enough to last me throughout development phase, I do run a high risk of having my funds dip to an uncomfortably low level.
So I have a compounded challenge here – to develop the system, I need a means of getting some survival income *first*, no matter how small the amount may be.
For yesterday (Thursday) and today (Fri), I had started a business – to teach people how to earn on the net. Collecting a fee in exchange of such know-how is my current plan to earn my survival income.
I had designed and hosted a webpage detailing my Internet marketing course. Teaching method will be 1-to-1 personal coaching style. Then today, I went around distributing my name cards advertising this business of mine to interested parties.
Tomorrow, I shall finalize the syllabus of the course – detailing every topic and chapter.
Soon, I’ll need to distribute *more* cards and possibly flyers too.
Wish me luck. But then Napoleon Hill tells us very clearly that success is not a fluke shot – it is a result of having burning desire to succeed.
After being educated by Hill, the significance of the wish “good luck” has reduced so much.
